Beschrijving
Woolpower (vroeger: Ullfrotte) maakt fantastisch mooi merino wollen ondergoed, warm, zacht en dun. Het materiaal bestaat uit 80% fijne merino wol (19,5 micron) en 20% polyamide. Het heeft weinig naden en is machinewasbaar op 60°C*. Kriebelt niet en draagt uitermate prettig. Extra lange rug. Kleur: zwart, met groene bies.
De gehele productie van Woolpower Lite is in Ostersund in Noord Zweden. De naam van de naaister die het kledingstuk heeft gemaakt en gecontroleerd staat op het label.
* Wol is in zekere mate zelfreinigend en houdt geen geurtjes vast. Dat betekend dat het niet zo vaak gewassen hoeft te worden als katoen of synthetica. Na het wassen even in model trekken. De wol komt van merino schapen uit Patagonia in Argentinie. De merinowol die Woolpower gebruikt wordt op een diervriendelijke wijze geschoren, niet geplukt.
The short sleeved crewneck LITE is made of 1×1 rib knit with color contrasting, light green seams. The lengthwise seams are curved from the front to the back for optimal fit, and the sleeves have raglan seams to prevent any seam rub when carrying a backpack. The back is longer to prevent gaps.

Woolpower is introducing a brand new material, Woolpower LITE, to fill the need for a thinner base layer.
Function is still the main focus. There are no more seams than are absolutely necessary. The material is very soft, smooth and stretchy, and it does not smell.
The new material still provides insulation, but more importantly its merino wool adapts to temperature and activity level.
Woolpower LITE is constructed with a rib knit and is made with 80% merino wool (superfine, 19.5 micron). The merino wool is combined with 20% of synthetic, polyamide fiber, to create a stronger and more durable garment.
Still made in Sweden of course.
